Applied Science (Forensics) (Level 3)

Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma

This course will develop your scientific knowledge and look at chemical testing, criminology and the wonders of forensics analysis. Mock crime scenes will be created and you will have to use the knowledge that you build to look at ways the ‘scene of the crime’ can be investigated! 

A BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma is a work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area you have chosen, you develop the skills you need to start or progress a career. Valued by employers and universities, they offer a clear route into employment or higher education. It is equivalent to one A-Level.
