Vocational Studies

This Foundation Learning course applies to students currently working below Level 1.

This qualification is designed for learners who wish to take a vocationally related qualification, but who have not yet decided on one specific sector to study. Learners will take initial units in self-assessment and career progression, before continuing to take a range of option units in different areas drawn from units already found in Edexcel's vocational Foundation Learning qualifications.

Units are designed to be practical and to allow learners to develop crosscutting employability skills. Learners will have the opportunity to take units at Level 1 if appropriate, which may motivate them and allow them to progress to Level 1 qualifications.
